Agnes Keyser (1852-1941), long-time mistress of King Edward VII and also founder and matron of the King Edward VII hospital for wounded officers at her home at 17, Grosvenor Crescent (her private house). Originally founded during the Boer War at the suggestion of the King, the hospital was extended during the First World War.
