Alexander the Great, King of Macedon, marries Roxana
Alexander the Great, King Alexander III of Macedon, weds Roxana, daughter of Oxyartes, a Bactrian chief whom he had defeated but now made an ally, 327 BC. Roxana bore him a son (Alexander IV Aegus), born after his death.
