The headquarters of the government agent in charge of the Sioux Indians' Reservation in Dakota. Indian police at the Pine Ridge. The Sioux were being forced to integrate with the white population and those who would not were increasingly policed by their own kind. Old Man Afraid of Horses replaced Red Cloud as leader of the Oglala Sioux, because Red Cloud would not conform to the strict guidelines set down at the government Agency.
