Amida (also known as Amitabha and Amitayus) is a celestial buddha according to the scriptures of Mahayana Buddhism. Amida is the principal buddha in Pure Land Buddhism (Mahayana Buddhism, branch of East Asian Buddhism). Amida is also known as 'The Buddha of Immeasurable Light and Life'. This depicts Amida with 3 faces and 14 arms.
