The Last Days of Fighting: Ammunition-Supply By Air
Ammunition is dropped from the air, by parachute, from a British biplane to keep troops in the front line supplied. Though coming under shell fire, this was a much quicker method of keeping the front line supplied with ammunition than the usual ground supply.
