Details |
Amphibious army exercises in East Anglia: troops attacking an 'enemy' seaplane with fast motorboats, 1941. Protecting East Anglian waterways from possible enemy landings: a cutting-out exercise by a flotilla of fast motorboats with specially-trained amphibian troops. The flat, marshy and fne areas of East Anglia require specialised forms of defence against a possible German invasion, and among these is the Broads flotilla, manned by the Royal Norfolk Regiment.
