Details |
Sky writing demonstrated over London. Sky writing was first employed in 1913 over the Epsom Derby, where the words 'Daily Mail' were written in the skies. Here, the Illustrated London News explains the skill involved in executing sky writing-using their own initials, naturally. Drawn by W.R Robinson, from information supplied by Major J.C Savage, the inventor of sky writing.
