Annette Marie Sarah Kellerman (1886 - 1975), Australian swimmer, film star, and writer. One of the first women to wear a one-piece bathing costume, causing a minor scandal at the time. Pictured in a photograph that demonstrates the claim by 'a number of well-known American doctors' that she possessed, 'the most perfect female figure in the world.' At the time she was appearing at the London Hippodrome as a mermaid in 'The Treasure Ship in the Fairy Seas'.
