A surprise at the Chelsea Arts Club Ball at the Royal Albert Hall: announcing a royal birth by megaphone on the night of 7th February 1923 when Princess Mary's son, George Lascelles, 7th Earl of Harewood, (King George V's first grandchild) was born. The theme of the ball was Antarctic and the orchestra was ensconced in a crevasse.
