A crowd of anti home-rulers attacking the car carrying Winston Leonard Spencer Churcill (1874-1965), then First Lord of the Admiralty, and his wife as they attempted to drive through Belfast to the Celtic Park Football Ground, February 1912. Winston Churchill, the English Statesman and Nobel Prize winner, was one of the most influential British politicians of the 20th century, leading Britain during the Second World War.
