Arrival of the hearse and remains of the Duke of Wellington at Chelsea Hospital. The body of the great statesman and soldier had been lying in state at Walmer Castle, his residence, since his death on 14th September 1852, and were then moved on 10th November to lie in state at Chelsea Hospital.
