Arthur Bourchier in the role of Old Bill, the curmudgeonly cartoon character created by Captain Bruce Bairnsfather in the Bystander and brought to life on stage in 'The Better 'Ole' by Bairnsfather and Arthur Eliot, produced by Charles Cochran and staged at the Oxford Theatre in 1917.
