The assassination of Sir Henry Wilson outside his house at 36 Eaton Place in London, by two Irish Republican Army volunteers, Reginald Dunne and Joseph O'Sullivan. Wilson had just returned by taxi from unveiling the Great Eastern Railway War Memorial at Liverpool Street Station and was wearing full Field-Marshal's uniform, with all his military decorations
