A Victorian family around a dining table during the distribution of envelopes of money, or 'Christmas boxes' to servants. The servant who has just received his is either embarrassed or unimpressed with his gift. Employer's traditionally gave their servants a gift, often financial, the day after Christmas Day, coining the term, 'Boxing Day'.
