Herr Richard Sawade, famous animal trainer, seen with his pet baby tiger, Babs. Babs was the first tiger cub to have been bred successfully in captivity by Sawade. He is pictured with his two best friends, a spaniel and a black and tan terrier. Babs became something of a celebrity when he was introduced to Queen Alexandra when she visited the London Hippodrome where Sawade was performing with his troupe.
