The famous Russian dancers, Mme. Alexandra Balachowa, who is to be a Red Cross nurse, and M. Michael Mordkin, who is a reservist, leaving Charing Cross for the front. Mordkin is reported to have remarked light-heartedly to some friends that he had taught a number of Russians and Britons and other people to dance, and now he was going to have an opportunity of teaching the Germans to dance.
