Beach and nautical outfits at the height of their popularity. On the left, a beach suit of silk printed to suggest cretonne, worn with a 'jumper' (sleeveless top) of white stockinette. The yachting suit on the right consists of white flannel trousers with jumper and a blazer-like jacket. From Galeries Lafayette of Regent Street.
