Frank Parker (right) stage manager of the London Hippodrome, instructing the electrical engineer, Mr Hawkins from the model of the stage made for the Christmas entertainment, "The Golden Princess and the Elephant Hunters". The climax of this particular production were fourteen elephants who walked up a ramp and then slid down a chute into the water tank in the arena in front of the audience. Here, Parker demonstrates in miniature the great shoot down which Busch's elephants plunge.
