Description Benediction of Amulets by Kami Priests
Details

Kami are spirits that are worshipped in the religion of Shinto. These spirits can be in the form of elements of the landscape, forces of nature, as beings and the qualities that these beings express; as well as the spirits of the dead. Many Japanese leaders (like the Emperor for example) could be or become kami. This shows the benediction (blessing) of amulets by kami priests (Kannushi) who lead the worship of a given kami.
