A cheerful group of blind soldiers pictured at St. Dunstan's hostel, Regent's Park, London. St. Dunstan's, near Hanover Gate in the park, set up by Mr. C. Arthur Pearson, was set up in order to rehabilitate blinded soldiers, to help them acquire the skills for everyday life and to help them learn a trade in order to eventually find employment.
