Bloody Sunday in Ireland - 20th November 1920 - portraits of murdered British officers (14 in total were killed). In the afternoon of the 20th, police went to Croke Park to search for arms at a crowded football match - having been fired upon by Republican scouts and returned fire into the crowd, killing 12 and injuring 50. The other images on the page show the Late Cadet Morris (lower left), the house on 22 Lower Mount Street where Mrs Mahon, a civilian, was murdered and Mrs Woodcock and Mrs Kenningsyde who saved the lives of their husbands who were injured.
