The body of the late King George of Greece was conveyed with all state from Salonica, where he was assassinated in the hour of his country's victory, to the capital city of Athens. The coffin surmounted by the late monarch's military cap, was places upon a gun-carriage which was guarded by naval and military detchments. Photograph was just as the procession was setting out from the Cathedral to the Larissa Station in Athens for conveyance by rail to the family mausoleum at Tatoi, where the late King had a summer house.
