Plush toys of Bonzo, the cartoon dog created by George Studdy in The Sketch magazine, lined up for sale in a London store,. Christmas 1924. Bonzo, who was officially named in the magazine in November 1922 (he was formerly known as the Studdy Dog), was a global superstar and a huge range of licensed products featuring Bonzo's image filled shops during the 1920s.
