The scene of the wedding reception for Lady May Cambridge after her marriage to Captain Henry Abel Smith, Brantridge Park in Sussex. The home of Princess Alice and the Earl of Athlone, the house faces south commanding a magnificent view of the Downs, and is surrounded by one hundred and sixty acres of wooded park. Lady May Cambridge married Captain Abel Smith at Balcombe Church, Sussex on 24 October 1931.
