Sketch showing British Commando troops riding on 'Cromwell' tanks crossing a snow-covered plain to assault German positions in the village of Linne in Holland, January 1945. This high-speed attack was highly successful and the German troops were beaten out of their positions. This illustration was made by the 'Illustrated London News' war artist, Captain Bryan de Grineau, who was attached to the British Second Army at the time.
