Details

British Protestant Church at Nice on the French Riviera in the process of being erected in 1859. The ILN states that, 'For a long time the want of church accommodation has been much felt at Nice, owing to the increasing influx of English visitors to this city. ' A committee was formed and the church, capable of accommodating 600 worshippers, was funded through subscriptions.
