Various scenes at the free buffet for soldiers and sailors at Victoria railway station in London. The buffet, staffed by volunteers, aimed to provide food and refreshments to soldiers and sailors returning home on leave, tired and dirty from the front. Other buffets soon appeared at more London stations.
