Description Camden Town railway: Homerton parsonage and church 1851
Details

As viewed from the Camden Town railway line: Homerton parsonage and church, the latter erected in 1847 from a design by Mr. Ashpitel, but pictured here in 1851. Large enough to accomodate 1,800 people, the church cost less then ú5,000 at the time to build, the amount being raised entirely by subscriptions.
