A captured German Focke-Wulf 190 fighter-bomber aeroplane, painted in Royal Air Force markings, 1944. During the Second World War, the RAF kept a 'circus' of captured German aircraft in flying condition and had a team of test pilots to fly and evaluate the German machines.
