Cartoon, A Dip in the Free Trade Sea -- satirical comment on the Conservative government's announcement that they did not intend to return to the policy of Protectionism. Lord Derby is already in the Free Trade water, and finding it pleasant, but Benjamin Disraeli is looking out dubiously from a bathing hut. Richard Cobden tries to entice him in, and Mrs Punch reassures him that he will find it bracing.
