Cartoon, A Quick Change of Front. A German shopkeeper, being a purveyor of Teutonic delicatessen products, makes a quick change once hostilities between Germany and England begin. Instead of Johann Schmidt, he becomes John Smith and sells Cambridge sausages instead of Frankfurters, Ginger beer and lemonade instead of hock, and Melton Mowbray pork pies in place of Strassburg pie. His dachshund dog is replaced by a more British looking terrier.
