Cartoon, Dressing for an Oxford Bal Masque -- satirical comment on a speech given by Benjamin Disraeli in Oxford on 25 November 1864. In a reference to Darwinism, he had said: 'The question is, is Man an Ape or an Angel? ... Now I am on the side of the Angels.'
