Cartoon, John Bull Between Peace and War -- a comment on the Duke of Wellington's warnings of a French invasion, counteracted by the more optimistic attitude of Richard Cobden. The cartoon is a close parody of the painting by Sir Joshua Reynolds, David Garrick Between Tragedy and Comedy (1761).
