Cartoon, The Catch of the Season -- Prime Minister Herbert Asquith is helped aboard a bus by a female conductor during the First World War. A comment on Asquith's eventual support of female enfranchisement after their contribution during the Great War. The Electoral Reform Bill was passed in the Commons in 1918 giving votes only to women over the age of 30, who owned their own house or were married to householders.
