Cartoon, The Great Trick Act -- a satirical comment on the Conservative Party's recent success in the General Election. Depicting Benjamin Disraeli as a female horse rider in a circus, with Richard Cross (Home Secretary) as ringmaster. A clown, representing Victuallers (Little Wittler) complains that the victuallers helped Disraeli to power, and have had no reward for it -- on the contrary, the new government has brought in an Intoxicating Liquors Bill, which doesn't help them at all.
