Description Cartoon, The Last of the Last Lines, WW1
Details

Cartoon, The Last of the Last Lines. Showing a scarecrow version of Paul von Hindenburg holding a sword, with Kaiser Wilhelm and the Crown Prince on the right. The Kaiser tells Hindenburg that he would like a strong steel wall right here, and all the reserves in Berlin, Unter den Linden and around the Imperial Palace -- a somewhat unlikely scenario, under the circumstances.
