Giacomo Casanova depicted as an elderly man coming back from the library. During his departure, Casanova is struck by a stone by a child who then begins to point and laugh due to his strange appearance. Casanova became a librarian in 1785 to Count Joseph Karl von Waldstein, a chamberlain of the emperor, in the Castle of Dux, Bohemia.
