Picture No 10017287
Date 1940s
Description Cascade hairstyle 1940s
Details

During the 1940s, elaborate hair was in fashion. Due to the rationing during World War II, most women chose lovely hairstyles over new dresses. This hairstyle would suit evening wear, with its elegance. Features a waved movement running round the back of the head. The cascade of curls which lies vertically below this is a very pretty design.
