Herd of cattle passing through the streets of the city of London, 1877. These animals were probably being driven towards the city's meat and livestock market, Smithfield. This image was originally entitled 'London Sketches - The Cattle Nuisance', with obvious reason, for the disruption this kind of herd could cause in a big city.
