British Prime Minister, Neville Chamberlain (1869-1940), waves goodbye as he boards an airplane at Heston Airport on his way to Bad Godesberg, Germany to meet Adolf Hitler, for the second time, to hold talks regarding the Sudetenland. Chamberlain's policy of 'appeasement' was fiercely opposed by Winston Churchill.
