'Oh! what a change is there; The tango nut wears a martial air, And Eve is dressed a la militaire. A cartoon charting the rapid change in fashion after the start of World War I, with the sack and hobble skirt ladies styles of pre war contrasting sharply with new flared skirts and military details of 1915. Her gentleman companion has changed from dapper top hat and tails to khaki uniform.
