Caricature of Charles Laughton (1899 - 1962), English character actor of stage and screen. Picture bestriding the Atlantic to indicate his success in both the UK and USA and clutching a number of dolls representing the characters he had played including Henry VIII, Nero, the murderer in 'Payment Deferred' and Mr Moulton-Barrett in 'The Barretts of Wimpole Street'.
