Charles Sargeant Jagger (1885-1934), British sculptor, with two early figures -- a study of a girl exhibited at the Royal Academy, and a design for a figure on a fountain. He won the Prix de Rome in 1914. He is best known for his war memorials, especially the Royal Artillery Memorial in London, which he produced following active service during the First World War.
