St. Rollox Chemical Works in Glasgow, making dry bleaching powder which was sold world wide and grew to be the world’s largest chemical Works. Showing the exterior of the factory covering 50 acres by the River Clyde, with its 450 feet chimneys known as Tennant's Stalk, coursing atmospheric pollution.
