Description | Chellean men of Olduvai |
Details |
Chellean men of Olduvai gathered around the body of a wild pig nearly as large as a rhinoceros. Excavations at Olduvai Gorge in Tanganyika uncovered two living sites. The illustration shows Chellean hunters on their camp site near a shallow marshy stream, based on the evidence of site BK II, where a child's giant teeth were found.
