Among the pioneering hospitals introducing this was Brompton Hospital. Main image shows 3 year-old Katherine O'Callaghan at Brompton Chest Hospital listening to her mother's heartbeat. Top picture on the right shows parents waiting to admit their daughter, and bottom picture shows a mother who was staying at the hospital reading with another child.
