Details |
Christmas Robin. Harrison Weir started working for the ILN in 1847 and was still submitting illustrations at the turn of the century, the paper's longest-serving illustrator. Weir is characterised by an extraordinary accuracy and life in his drawings, his poultry live in the farmyard and his birds in the wild, rare among Victorians.
