Details

After his 'Oran' speech in the House of Commons, Prime Minister Winston Churchill(1874-1965) is cheered by his fellow MPs. After the bombing of the French Navy at Mers-el-Kebir, Churchill spoke movingly of Britain's determination to fight on in the 'supreme hour' to which she had been called.
