Sir Winston Churchill (1874-1965) pictured in 1916, returning from the front line, saying his "mind is now clear", in order to speak in favour of the recall of Lord Fisher to the Admiralty. Here he is leaving his house with his wife Clementine Churchill (1885-1977), en route for Westminster.
