Actress Claire Luce (1903-1989), actress and entertainer, photographed in a Schiaparelli evening dress worn in the Seymour Hicks production of Ashley Duke's Vintage Wine at Daley's Theatre. In white monastique, a material with a diagonal, slightly raised self-stripe. The severe, sophisticated little coat contradicts the baby blue sash of the dress.
